UPDATE 7/06/2024: We went back during lunch. It wasn’t crowded so the service was wonderful. Our food was good. However, they put the cart of all the dirty dishes next to us. I know this place is tiny, but I hope they rectify this and put it elsewhere, away from the customers eating. Overall, we will definitely return. ———— We were looking forward to some good Korean food as I was craving noodles. The pictures of this restaurant looked really appealing on Google. Inside, it was tiny but had cute decor. As soon as we sat down, the waiter told us to use the self-ordering system on the table, which I thought was pretty cool. However, the tablet was really slow. My husband ordered the galbi, which came on top of clear glass noodles. It was a huge portion and came out quickly, but it was tasteless and chewy. They only offered one side of kimchi banchan, which was disappointing because every other Korean restaurant I've been to offers at least four banchan. I ordered the spicy cold noodle soup, but it never arrived. After waiting for almost 30 minutes, I decided to cancel the order. This restaurant looked promising, but I'm giving it 1 star right now because the galbi was chewy and flavorless, and they only provided one side of banchan. I plan to return to try their noodle dishes and will update my review then.

I loved this place! Diane was amazing and so sweet. She provided excellent service and the food was phenomenal without breaking the bank. My husband and I shared an up sized combo and for two people it was only $30. Everything was fresh and flavorfully. We will definitely be back.

This is arguably one of the best (if not the best) authentic Korean restaurants in the DFW area. I love their soups, their broth is just something different, and their bulgogi is absolutely delicious. If you want to experience true Korean delicacies, come to Kooksoo. You will certainly be satisfied and be able to walk out happy.

It was good! I enjoyed the food. The service was okay but it wasn’t too bad to knock it. I had the pleasure to introduce Korean food to someone who never had. We both got the same thing: Korean BBQ Bulgogi with rice. The beef was well seasoned in the Bulgogi manner. It was garlicky and had actual pieces of garlic (a major plus). Although not pictured the rice complemented the dish very well. One small downside was the dish was a little oily but nothing the rice can fix.

We ordered a combo of Beef Kooksoo and bulgogi. The size was decent for the price. It didn't entirely fulfill two people but we were pretty hungry. Both dishes were delicious. We will come back when we want hot soup.

The stir fried noodles with beef was incredibly delicious. I very much enjoyed my meal. The amount of spiciness was just right. You order through a tablet which was very convenient. The worker was very knowledgeable and talked us through the menu. My accomplice who does not really like kimchi thought it was good as did I. We came in very close to their lunch time, but we were still accommodated. I will be back
